Patios & Outdoor Living

Paver patios, covered lanais, pergolas, and summer kitchens — the outdoor room your house is missing, built on the right base with drainage that works.

What this covers

Patios & Outdoor Living

In South Florida the patio is a second living room ten months a year. We design and build the whole outdoor package: paver or travertine patios on properly compacted base, covered lanais tied into the existing roof structure, pergolas, summer kitchens, and the electrical and plumbing runs that make them work. Because we're a general contractor — not just a paver crew — the structure, the roofing tie-in, the gas line, and the permit all run through one builder.

What's included

  • Paver, travertine, and porcelain patio installation
  • Covered lanai and roof extension construction
  • Pergolas and shade structures engineered for FL wind loads
  • Summer kitchens — counters, grills, sinks, refrigeration
  • Electrical for lighting, fans, and TVs; gas lines for grills
  • Drainage design so the patio sheds water away from the house
  • Screen enclosure coordination when the patio will be enclosed
  • Permits and inspections for structures and utility runs

When to call us

The backyard is a slab and a hose bib

A designed patio with cover, lighting, and a place to cook turns unused yard into the most-used room in the house.

You want the lanai covered — properly

A roof extension over a patio is structural work: footings, engineered framing, tie-in flashing, permits. That's general contractor territory, and it's our lane.

You're doing a pool and want the deck and patio designed together

The pool, deck, patio, and screen enclosure should be one plan, not four contractors improvising. We coordinate the whole surround.

Common questions

Can you tie a new covered lanai into my existing roof?

Yes — that's the right way to do it. The framing gets engineered, the connection is permitted and inspected, and the roofing is flashed and matched so it doesn't leak or look bolted-on.

What surface is best for a South Florida patio?

Travertine stays cooler underfoot and looks high-end. Porcelain pavers are the most stain- and mold-resistant. Concrete pavers are the value play. All three work when the base is built right — the base is where patios fail.

Do you build summer kitchens?

Yes — masonry or framed bases, stone counters, built-in grills, sinks with plumbed drains, refrigeration, and the gas and electrical runs, permitted and inspected.
